1.) Jesus is the son of God, and an important figure in Christianity. Jesus was raised by the Virgin Mary and Joseph, he grew up a carpenter but quickly began to preach God's message at an early age. Jesus had twelve disciples, who were dedicated to shadowing Jesus and learning all about his message. Eventually Jesus was crucified by the Romans, specifically Pontius Pilate, and rose again three days later. Many people look to Jesus as a way to live their lives, simple and with God.

1.) My name is Shelly Dunne and I am from Northern California. I come from a large Irish family, both my parents are one of ten. I live with my dad, older sister, and tiny dog named Kibbles. In my spare time I enjoy doing different athletic activities, especially dance. I also like to go to the movies, walk my dog, go to Starbucks with my friends, or just read a good book. I am studying business and hope to become a CPA like my parents. Synoptic Gospels looks like a promising class and I am looking forward to it!
